Though it’s more of a personal pursuit, but I’ve been known to take photography commissions and assignments from time to time to support my young family.
I’m not a photojournalist, although I have such leanings in my work. My style could probably be best described as editorial, like what you would normally see in travel and lifestyle magazines; I like working with fast lenses in available light. For portraits, I am very much influenced by American wedding photographers and edit to achieve a “camera pretty” style. This of course would depend on the client’s requirement, I try to be as flexible as I can to accommodate the client’s feedback in achieving their creative vision.
I do have some experience with studio flash set-ups for product photography and formal portraits from my many years of experience in the consumer durables business, so feel free to hit me up for such opportunities.
I look forward to hearing from you, no job is too small or too strange. In the unlikely event I do turn down work, it is usually due to scheduling conflicts. So call me already.
